Happy Monday guys! Here we are again for another awesome instalment of 5 cool and fun date ideas for your week ahead!
Christmas by the River
It would be silly of us not to mention the awesome river market that’s taking place in London Bridge this week! We have the privilege of running our Connect 4 at the Eis Haus Bar on Thursday, it’s going to be so much fun! But if you’re already coupled up then head on down to the market anyway to experience over 60 stalls selling all sorts of trinkets and wonders (great place for you Christmas shop)! And of course, you can warm up and choose from the vast array of stalls selling delicious food and drink delights!
Floating Film Festival
If walking around the market isn’t your cup of tea but you still fancy being by the water then check out the Christmas Floating Film Festival in St. Katherine’s Docks. For the next week, all of your festive favourites will be showing as you sink into their snuggly bean bags, with heaters and carry on the theme of warming your cockles with mulled wine and/or hot chocolate whilst you watch. You won’t ever want to leave!
Give a Knit
Time to get your own back on Granny for that horrendous jumper she gave you last Christmas! Somerset House are hosting a great workshop this Saturday where you get to refashion and upcycle your garish woolies into catwalk worthy delights!
Outspoken: Poetry for the People
Do you have a way with words? Or at least love listening to those that do? If so, Outspoken is London’s newest and hottest stanza-filled slam to be found in Waterloo’s Cafe Del Marsh.
The Gingerbread City
This just sounds and we’re sure, smells and tastes great too! The Museum of Architecture have got themselves into the Christmas spirit by ditching the bricks for gingerbread instead! Take a look at the beautiful cityscape they’ve built entirely out of the stuff, just try your best not to eat it!
Have a brilliant week guys!
