We loved compiling last week’s list of fun things for you and your beau (I can’t bring myself to use bae yet!) to get out and about. So here at Smudged HQ, as we’re all about getting up off our butts and out there making the most of all London has to offer, welcome to our new weekly feature of 5 fun dating ideas to check out for the week ahead. You’ll want to bookmark us as you’ll never be at a loose end again – you’re date will thank you for it!
So what’s in store for the week of 6th November, scroll on down!
Oxford Street Christmas Light Switch On
The last firework has popped so it’s officially Christmas right?! We think so! And so what could be a better way to mark the occasion than by making your way to Oxford Street in time for the big switch on tomorrow night!
Smith & Sinclair: Flavour Gallery
I haven’t just picked this one as it shares the same surname as our very own Jordi but it sounds like SO much fun! Smith & Sinclair have brought the world of art, taste and all the senses together. Join them as they take you on a multi-sensory journey with various works of art that use smell, sound, light and so much more to keep you enthralled. And all this you can enjoy with cocktail in hand – perfect!
This has to be my favourite of the week! Ditch those ideas that yoga is all about sitting in silence, cross-legged in the lotus position, chanting “Ommmmmm”! Yoga just been given a massive face lift! Shower yourself in glitter at their very own “glitter station” and then get set for an hour yoga class to some serious disco hits! All this followed by cocktails/mocktails and a live DJ keeping the disco vibes going through the night! Your Tuesday’s will never be the same again!
Laugh Train Home Comedy Wednesdays
There is no better way to bond with your date than over some serious laughs! The Four Thieves in Clapham, host their weekly comedy night that showcases the talents of some top comedians that have featured on the likes of Mock The Week, Live at the Apollo and so many more. One not to be missed!
Beauty & The Feast
This sounds immense! The Vaults in Waterloo are being transformed into a fairytale wonderland, but not as you know it! You will have the opportunity to experience a magnificent feast, just like the ones you see in the movies! And then you get to go to the ball but not the straight laced, fancy pants ones. You get to go to a beast of a night out as you swing from the chandeliers for the rest of the night!
Have a brilliant week guys!
