If you have a penchant for an antique then all your dreams have come true this weekend! Get yourself down to Evolutionary Arts Hackney for the Big London flea market. There’ll be all sorts from vintage lamps to artisan furniture, quintessential trinkets to retro clothing and heritage jewellery. With over 50 sellers, there’s many a bargain to be had!
To the rhythm of the boogie the beat. It’s going down in London Bridge this Saturday, London’s answer to Step Up is taking place at the Ugly Duck, Bermondsey. The UK’s best hip hop dancers will be coming from across the UK to compete at this awesome venues. There’ll be a stream of top DJs and international judges in attendance.
If you haven’t tired of brunching over Christmas, Gordon Ramsay’s Union Street Café is the place to be this weekend. Rather than the usual natter of other brunchers in the background, you’ll be serenaded by the Dirty Old Brasstards! The freaking awesome 10piece brass band who’ll be playing a number of renditions from RnB, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul etc as you enjoy bottomless bubbles and a two course Italian Brunch.
Well kind of… This weekend is your last chance to get behind the wheel of a bumper car on ice. Yes that is a thing! Think dodgems, then put them on ice and you’ll have the most amount of fun skidding a sliding your way through the first weekend of 2019! When you’re time is up you can pop on down the road to the delicious Mercato Metropolitano for a bite to eat.
More than enough to entice Hansel and Gretel, the Museum of Architecture have designed and manufactured an entire city from sweet sweet gingerbread! Housed in the V&A, this is the last weekend you’ll be able to catch this extravaganza. Purely for looking, no touching, we’re just incredibly jealous of the team who get to dismantle it next week!
