5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week 14/3-20/3

The “GREEN With Envy” Date

“Paddy’s Day”. Love it or hate it, it’s a great excuse to go and have a Guinness or 2 regardless of the consequences. There is no shortage of options when it comes to St Patrick’s Day in London – but we’ve picked the Jameson Open House at The Bike Shed in Shoreditch as something a little more “datey”. Expect 6 days of cool vibes including dj’s, stand-up, live music with each 90 minute ticket giving you 3 servings of the good stuff.

The “With My HOMEy” Date

One for the couples….. Or those just wanting to act out their 500 Days of Summer fantasy. The Ideal Home Show kicks off this week at the London Olympia and a date here will be one of the following: a piss take, a date for a couple who actually want to buy/already own a house together or for a date where you literally have exhausted every other thing to do in London.

The “Having a BALL” Date

Shameless plug alert (but a great date idea nonetheless). We have a special event happening on Thursday the 17th to raise money for the British Red Cross. We are hosting an uber-cool social Foosball tournament at Mama’s Shelter in Shoreditch. If you are looking for something for  a Paddy’s Day alternative that will kill any awkwardness – tickets are just a fiver, so snap them up!

The ‘SHIPWRECK of a” Date

OK, when most of us think about Titanic we think about the film. Nothing wrong with that, but there’s a much bigger story surrounding the ship and its voyage that is much more interesting than Kate Winslett hogging a floating piece of wood that could have easily accommodated 2 people. Anyway, the last few weeks of the Titanic Exhibition are happening at the moment and make for a great date idea for for those looking for a little more culture.

The “Just B-cos” Date

B-corps, those companies that are certified to meet certain high standards in the fields of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability have their very own POP-UP shop in London! Yep, expect Tony’s Chocoloney and Vita Coco amongst many of the sustainable treats from brands that are doing their bit to make the world a better place. Grab your date and and support them in Fitzrovia before it gets packed up!

Until next week!
