5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week 14/6 – 20/6 2021
As the heat intensifies, finding a good date place can be a real gamble. So, whether you want somewhere with air con, or perhaps fancy sweating up a storm under the strong London sun, we have you covered this week with a mix of indoor and outdoor gems in this week’s cool London date ideas.
Not a day goes by in London where a random space is repurposed to become a beer garden or bar-slash-street food hub. Well, Kentish Town is latest home to the latter with creatively named, The Garden Kentish Town. From the same team that brought you the Vauxhall Food and Beer Garden this could well be a new North London stable for date night.
Wandering around a market with somebody is a really cool, low-key date idea and Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross is as nice a place as any to do it. Plenty of things to do, eat, drink and peruse, you’ll be hard-pressed to be bored. Afterwards hang out in Granary Square and watch the world go by on the canal.
Crazy golf venues in London are back in full SWING (boom). Junkyard Golf in Shoreditch is up there with the best in the biz with a variety of creative courses and bars set-up within said courses, you’re sure to have a blast on what is an ideal first date!
Quirky little cinemas are nicer than regular cinemas, right? I mean, they cost an extra fiver a ticket so I can only assume that this true. The Archlight Cinema at the Battersea Power Station is open and great for something a little different. Afterwards grab something to eat or drink at one of the cool bars or eateries in within the complex.
It’s so good to see Bounce, well, literally bounce back after being closed for so long. London’s home of ping pong and neon lights has been a date fave for years. From experience, just don’t get too competitive and make a scene if you lose….. That was my date, not me. Honest.
Until next week!
