5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week 19/4-25/4 2021

Another week to say goodbye to park dates and hello to something a little more interesting. Here are this week’s cool London date ideas whether it’s date number 1 or one thousand!

ONE: The “You’re My ROCK” Date

Indoor fitness areas are open…. Which include indoor rock climbing centres! YES! So, grab your date and hope that you don’t FALL for them too quickly (boom boom). A number of venues across London are open with Covid-19 safety measures in place including The Vauxhall Climbing Centre and the The Castle in Finsbury Park.

TWO: The “COLD Shoulder” Date

As the sun starts to shine through on a more regular basis, going somewhere extremely cold may feel a little crazy. BUT, if it means donning some skis or a snowboard and doing something a little different then surprise your date and head to the Snowcentre in Hemel Hempstead!

THREE: The “It’s Da’ BOMB” Date

One for gin lovers. Bombay Sapphire’s temporary art installation at the Design Museum is live from the 21st to the 25th of April. Grab essential items at the Kensington supermarket wrapped up in unique art by local emerging artists where all proceeds go to the museum’s Emerging Designer Access Fund which in turn gives artists and designers free access to the museums exhibitions, talks and events!

FOUR: The “A LOT To Take In” Date

There’s some really cool outdoor entertainment happening at The Lot in Hackney (old HWK). This week you can expect resident DJ’s from the early afternoon through to 10pm from Thursday to Sunday. A bit more than just your average pint in the wind!

FIVE: The “Bit o’ POP Culture” Date

Pop Brixton is back and what better place to take a date that has a bunch of cool spaces to eat whilst leaning back in the sun, watching south London pass you by. They are taking  walk-ins and greenhouse/restaurant bookings  for groups of 6 or less, so you should be able to make your date happen in some way, shape or form!

Until next week!
