5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week 27/9 29/9
For those lucky enough to have a hot date this week……. And those of you just going on a date because you feel guilty chatting to somebody for 2 weeks without meeting up yet!
Cider, everyone’s favourite summer alternative has its own festival happening in Kings Cross all weekend. A great option if you fancy a drink – but away from the staleness of sitting in the same bar for an hour! Ciderfest x Canopy Market also has lots of traditional British food available in addition to the usual live music and entertainment vibe. Oh, it’s also freeeee!
Celebrating all things Japan, Japan Matsuri 2019 is happening in Trafalgar Square! A great date to wander around with lots happening to take away any awkwardness including food and live entertainment. It’s happening on Sunday and is the perfect option if the weather holds out!
Hands-on – tick. Messy – tick. Educational AND fun – tick tick! If that doesn’t sound like the perfect recipe for a decent date, I don’t know what is… So, there is a graffiti/street artist workshop happening on Saturday and Sunday in East London. You must book beforehand….. And it’s not cheap….. So, I’d say it’s great for a couple or anybody who’s moved past the initial sparring stages of dating.
If traditional British food is your thing, you and your date (assuming they’re into it as well) are in for a treat! Tottenham Ploughman’s is back on Sunday with the “Tottenham Taster” – a celebration of all yummy British things. Great for anyone looking for a change of scenery and something delicious.
House parties are cool, right? Well…… Most are. Is there anything cooler than a house party happening at Jimi Hendrix’s place? No, there isn’t. It’s happening on Saturday night as part of the Emerge Festival and is definitely a great idea for anyone who wants to do something different.
That’s it from me – have an amazing weekend!
