5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week 28/1 – 3/2

Now we don’t want to be pessimists but January sucks! It is the most depressing month, but we hope we’ve helped make it slightly more bearable with our weekly date inspo. This week is no different! To celebrate the end of Jan we’ve got you an underground festival, a pizza making feast, a surreal documentary at the Barbican and more. So go on have a little read and give yourselves a pat on the back for nearly making it through the last Monday in January.

An Underground Labyrinth

For the next six weeks, Waterloo will be playing host to a series of events that’ll seem like a thing of the future! Vault Festival have set up an underground labyrinth in the arches at Waterloo, filled with the quirkiest comedy, freaky films, incredible immersive theatre and a mouth-watering collection of eateries and bars, you’ll never want to leave!

Surreal Salvador

In Search of Immortality is the title of the film which features never before seen footage of the world-famous artist Salvador Dali. The documentary offers us an insight into the life of the master of surrealism, his home, his career and his muses. For one day only, this documentary will be available at the brilliant Barbican, Thursday 31st January. Catch it while you can!

Crafty Fox

The best London pop up for independent emerging designers. For the shopaholics of you out there, clawing at your purses and wallets, having had to lie low after the big Christmas spend, now is your time! The Crafty Fox market will have exhibitors selling accessories, homeware, jewellery, paper goods and much more. Better yet, it is being held at Elephant and Castle’s Mercato Metropolitano, so you can sample the food and drink on offer as you scan the stalls. Just in time for payday too!
