5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week 5/8 – 11/8
You could go for a coffee…. Orrrrrr you could take your date to one of these cool London date ideas happening this week.
There’s a festival for everything in London nowadays, so it shouldn’t shock you that there’s now an Espresso Martini Festival happening this week. We suggest it as a great alternative to the standard coffee date if you want that buzz, obviously there’s a lot more to it including masterclasses and a variety of takes on the classic cocktail.
Outdoor cinemas…. When did they become so massive? The idea of paying £15+ each for a movie that’s free on Netflix still baffles me, but hey. The biggest screen of them all, Somerset House Summer Screen starts again on Thursday and runs for 2 weeks. A great alternative to a regular night at the cinema.
If espresso martinis aren’t quite your thing, that’s cool the London Craft Beer Festival is happening at event go-to venue Tobacco Docks from Friday until Sunday. Take your date outside, drink some obscure beer and watch the world go by!
Food! Yes! The Oval Night Market is happening in Bethnal Green on Friday and Saturday night. Street food, warm evenings and Bethnal Green – if that doesn’t score you brownie points – then I don’t know what will!
A really interesting way to spend a Tuesday night – an LGBT tour of Soho. Grab a can of cider and wander the streets of Soho and Covent Garden getting to know the history of the ever-changing chunk of London’s history.
Have an amazing week!
