5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week – 6/1 – 12/1

A new year to navigate through the dating world. Well, this is the year to ditch the whole “drinks” conveyor belt you find yourself on and do something COOL! This week’s 5 cool London date ideas are up in all their glory……

The “Life’s Too SHORT” Date¬†

Movie dates…. Hit and miss, right? No talking for a couple of hours hardly constitutes a great opportunity to get to know each other. Buuuuuut, the London Short Film Festival is happening until the 19th and has some great stuff. This way you can still watch something cool and then go and something else.

The “Doing a Full 180” Date

When we think darts, we think fat guy in a pub with a pint in his hand. Well, why not take your date to watch these incredible athletes in person for the BDO World Professional Darts Championships at Ally Pally. It’s definitely a spectacle and fancy dress is a must to get the most out of it!

The “SILENT But Deadly” Date

Awkward silences on dates go hand-in hand. So, why not make it a thing for the whole date and check out the London International Mime Festival! Much more than just French guys trying to get out of imaginary glass boxes, the festival has a whole range of amazing shows that are definitely worth checking out!

The “Doing the CIRCUE-it” Date

If you can splash the cash and want to have a night of “oohs and ahs” (mind, gutter, please) then hit up Cirque Du Soleil’s “Luzia”. Set in Mexico, it will no doubt keep both of you amazed for a couple of hours. It’s happening at Royal Albert Hall as well which is a nice touch.

The “String to my BOWie” Date

One for Bowie fans, well music fans in general – a night celebrating the genius of David Bowie is happening on Saturday at The Wanstead Tap. Expect an interactive night of music (shock horror), video and images whilst celebrating one of the world’s greatest artists.

Have fun!
