5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week 19 – 25 Mar

We’ve had just about enough of freezing our asses off and are seriously ready for Spring already! Here’s some stuff for you to get up to this week which should help us call in a warm front, sometime freakin’ soon!

The Boat Race

Nothing is so quintessentially British as The Boat Race! Even if it’s freezing, grab your summeriest outfit this Saturday and leg it down to an awesome viewing point by the river so you can cheer on the Oxbridge crew as they go head to head to win the much coveted title for 2018!

Bascule Chamber ‘Blackout’

If that was all a bit too cold then head below water to check out the Bascule Chamber under Tower Bridge, one of London’s greatest hidden spaces! You’ll be treated to a video projection and sound installation telling the story of a post-Blitz London. A real and rare treat for the senses, one not to be missed!

London Burgundy Week

Grab your date and indulge in a romantic week in Burgundy! Well not literally in Burgundy but as close as you can get here in London. 5 days this week will be spent celebrating the region and its wines through a variety of masterclasses, tasting sessions, wine flights and much more. Just try not to get too wasted!

Silver Rings Workshop

Beyonce advised “if you like it then you better put a ring on it” so after all that wine, we highly encourage you and your date make a Bey-line (like what we did there!) for our partner venue, Drink, Shop and Do for their Silver Rings Workshop! You’ll have the chance to carve your a silver ring from jewellers wax and then watch as it’s transformed into the real deal!

Terrarium Workshop at Alexandra Palace

You can’t call yourself a modern day Londoner if you don’t have at least one terrarium at home, so what are you waiting for?! Herron Hawker and Capital Garden Centres are hosting a workshop for you to get crafting your own, open terrarium!

I think we can safely say that thanks to this list, spring in springing now! You’re welcome. Have a great week guys!
