5 Cool London Dates Ideas This Weekend 28/6 – 30/6

5 Cool London Date Ideas This Weekend!

As the first of 2019 comes to a close, why not go out with a bang and take your date somewhere different! Whether it’s your 1st or 501st date together, ditch the “drinks” and get creative!

LondonGelato Festival

The “WALLA-BE Mine?” Date

Australian movies rock! Strictly Ballroom, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Mad Max (not the terrible one with Tina Turner) – ok, maybe nothing amazing in the last 20-odd years, but still. Anyway there’s an Australian Film Festival happening this weekend at the beautiful Regent Street Theatre which is a lot more interesting than going to The Odeon.

The “Hope it Doesn’t DRAG-ON” Date

With the beautiful weather here to stay (no doubt clouds are rolling in as I write this) take advantage by heading to The Thames for the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival. There’s lots of other great stuff going on for the festival including live entertainment and food.

The “Getting COLD Feet” Date

Ice cream on first date – regardless of how well the date goes…. You can always take solace in the fact that there was ice cream. With this mantra in mind there is a London Gelato Festival happening over the weekend. Great for a first date…… Bad for those with IBS.

The “You Put a Smile on my DIAL” Date

7 Dials, that place that always gets slightly confusing when trying to find Neil’s Yard is celebrating 30 years with a festival. Super central location and the perfect place with tonnes to do – it’s definitely it great date idea to at least start the date off with.

The “Water Under the BRIDGE” Date

Tower Bridge…. Great to look at, but not many people have spent the £9 to go to the top and sample the view. Well, to celebrate 125 years, the price this weekend is set at just £1.25. I mean, there are cheap dates and there are cheap dates… Go on, splash out… You deserve it!

Have an amazing weekend!
