5 Cool London Date Ideas This Week 21/10 -27/10

The weather may be getting worse. Boooooo. BUT, that means there are a lot of cool indoor date ideas happening in London this week. Yaaaaaay!

The “I Need Some SPACE” Date

Sci-fi and fantasy enthusiasts rejoice as Comic-con is back in London this weekend. Great if both you and your date are into that sort of stuff…. Weird if it’s just you and you and you rock up in full costume. Obviously really hands-on to get rid of any awkwardness.

The “Better LATE Than Never” Date

It’s the V&A, but not as you know it. The Friday night late is heading to Hackney Wick as part of the V&A East project opening in 2023 where it celebrates the art and design responding to the ever-changing landscape that is East London. It’s free, so – you know, that’s good.

The “Let’s Just VEG” Date

Want to get in and amongst all things plant-based? Even if you and your date are just curious, Vegfest is full of interesting talks and hands-on stuff to help you get even more in the know with all things veg. There are lots of things for sale such as clothes, supplements and obviously food, so expect to spend even more money once you’re inside.

The “Stroking My ECO” Date

Movie dates are hit and miss…. It’s true – they are. So, if you’re looking for something a little less Marvel-esque, the London Bridge Pop-up Eco Film Festival is happening across various locations across London Bridge. All films cover subjects on sustainability, climate change and ecosystems and are completely free! It’s happening Thursday to Sunday.

The “What’s the CATCH?” Date

Pokemon? Yes? No? How it’s even still a thing is beyond me – I don’t get it. Anyway, if you are into that sort of thing a Pokemon pop-up opened this week at Westfield Shepherd’s Bush and will take up residency for 4 weeks until the 15/11. Expect “M&M’s World but for Pokemon” and if that doesn’t sell your date on the idea of a romantic trip to a shopping centre – then I don’t know what will!

Have an amazing week!
